Brooks Adrenaline Walker

Posted on March 1, 2010.
Brooks Adrenaline WalkerBrooks or Asics shoes?

I wear Asics Kayano shoes, but I think to try the Brooks Adrenaline. I am a big guy and I wear a 12.5 4E shoe. I use my shoes every day on an elliptical machine, a treadmill, and sometimes a stationary bike. I'm not a racer just a fast walker. I am a pronator but not more serious and I am almost flat footed. Any input is great. Thank you

I am a big fan of Brooks adrenaline, but I'm not sure this is a width that suits a 4E. I have a narrow foot, and the normal width fits well. So, try them. If you transfer brands / models, it is a good idea to try the shoes anyway, but especially those of 4E.

I used to run in Asics, but my feet seemed to be beating themselves a little when I was running many miles. It is possible that I was not using a model that has been so favorable to me like the others.

After I went to Brooks, my feet were happier.

Brooks Adrenaline shoes are very good, but too Asics. Sorry that is not much help, but they are really two good shoes.

I ran a few marathons and have had several brands of running shoes, including Asics and Brooks. I found that even specific shoes (Asics Gel, etc.) change from year to year, which may have great effects on your feet. And a decline in quality as you mention.
Although most models of shoes that they focus on some aspect of movement of the foot, I'd say the best thing to do is go to a real shop running and at least try 4-5 pairs to see what feels just right.
I am a wide 11.5, and have had good success with New Balance shoes.
