I want a new pair of Brooks Adrenaline running shoes. I am currently wearing the GTS 8 Style. I found GTS 7 sell for less. Are they the same shoe, but last years model?

I run in Brooks Adrenaline GTS8. The meaning is the model year they were manufactured. EXAMPLE: GTS 4, 2004, GTS5 in 2005, and so on.
