Cycling pants? Are there long pants road cycling that are not too tight and do not get caught in the chain and sprockets easily. When I wear ripped jeans they get very quickly.
It is hard to beat the prices of clothing performance bike shops, including their clothing label. Catch the things they have for sale. When it's cold outside, I wear a pair of padded cycling shorts with a pair of unpadded tights over them. You can use tights and rider, whatever you find for sale. I got my latest pair to a power outlet for about $ 20 U.S..
What do you too tight?
There are lots of lycra bike pants on the market that look good and wont get caught in your chain.
I bought shorts and jerseys Netti the mark in the past.
Go to any bike shop for a variety of styles and brands online or Nashbar (I think it is www.bikenashbar.com)
First to use strips of pants that will take over the pant leg. Lycra is tight: bad dude rocks of technical clothing and what you need is a good pair of rain pants, I swear by them.
or
you can get a protective pants.

I wear my cycling shorts and a pair of tights Under Armor Cold Gear on them. If the day warms up I can remove them and put them in my pocket or bag. I do the same with the layers shirt. Top long sleeve cycling jersey under my AU.
Buy them on sale at the sports shop regularly and put a bunch.
