Dirt Bike Riding Apparel

Dirt Bike Riding ApparelCan I sue a company credit card for not trying to advise me of the debt before destroying my credit?

Several years ago I entered a contract joint credit with my sister. The card was supposed to be used for a major purchase that we all agree. My sister and I never reached an agreement on what to buy, and to my knowledge, she went out and spent thousands of dollars on the dirt bike riding clothes for herself and her boyfriend. Then she let the account go to collections.

I guess that happened several years ago. I had forgotten the card until a few months ago when I got my free credit report. The creditor has never tried to contact me about this debt before negative impact on my credit. Also, if I did know that my sister had done this, I would not have a cell phone in my name which resulted in a similar situation. I have no problem continuing my sister, but can I sue the creditor as well?

The short answer, yes. You can sue someone for any reason at any time.

However, the truth of that statement is that you should sue if you know you're likely to win and you have reasonable (evidence that makes them guilty of violating the law). corporate credit cards are large and have deep pockets with very expensive lawyers. There is probably a provision in the contract with the credit issued to you to prosecution. You will probably find that once you file your complaint and serve. The reason I mention this at all is that if you lose your case, you may be required to pay all court costs, bills and good counsel counsel for the company credit card.

In fact, there may be a provision that requires you to file the complaint against the company headquarters where credit cards are.

Before selecting a file, you should consult a lawyer who specializes in collecting debt. They know the law on these issues. And, if the credit card company has violated the law, so we'll know if you have good reason to continue.

Good luck.

I think Dun, because in this case, the credit year is already beyond the confidence of them, I am sure that under the contract, they are protected against u.
