Is it difficult for a goalkeeper short of becoming a good goalkeeper? From what I know, goalies most good at least 6 feet high, in the years 180 and 190. I'm 5'8 "(172cm approx) and already 15, so I do not think I'll make the 6 feet. Is it possible for me to become a goalkeeper as effective as those that are larger? What are the chances?
and everything depends on your reflexes and reaction time and how high you can jump ball placement and when your putting the ball in play
Thus, they may have a height advantage but you can still have a serious advantage of skills just work hard and ull do fine
im a goalie im my club. My height is only 159 and my age is already 19. Goalie Short has the speed and quick reaction, then the top goalies. to jump, high jump practice on euros and jump higher. Report Abuse
I say that if you are fast reactions and can jump high and wide then yes lol Gomes PSV did not look as big as some guards and he beat my team on the Sea of sanctions!
If its what your good and you have a passion Id say nothing is impossible, remember the sentence
Jorge Campos is the perfect example of a goalkeeper short, but very
He is the guardian of Mexico

But my personal opinion is that you do not need to be big to be a good goalkeeper.
No, it is not necessary to ensure great technology to become a good goalkeeper.
You can heal. You'll have a drawback for the balls are in the top corners, but you will have a Benefit to work quickly to those who are pushed to the bottom corners. but only the practice of feedback and flexibility, position, and you'll be a good goalkeeper. remember it's just practice.
DepEd on the speed and talent ...
They have one of the disadvantages of the air ..
Mexico has a good goalkeeper who is outstanding (sorry forgot his name), so keep your hardwork!
