Is lithium aspartate working the same way as lithium carbonate? Lithium aspartate is sold as a right "mineral supplement non-medical." I wonder if you could treat someone with Bi Polar Lithium Aspartate without paying for expensive drugs, since the lithium aspartate is relatively cheaper than Most brand-name drugs. Also studies have shown that lithium appears to increase the brain mass, could you get that effect from lithium aspartate?
Are you sure that the price is cheaper than a lot?
You better figure for the difference in molecular weight detween aspartate and carbonate your calculation and see if this is a good deal or not!
allegedly lithium aspartate / orotate is much safer and less toxic (maby even nontoxic) compared with lithium carbonate. and because lithium is affected by orotic acid did for much lithium to cross the blood-brain barrier. Report Abuse
If you want more info on lithium orotate or aspartate go to this site.

Lithium carbonate is also cheap. Studies have also shown that fish oil also considering help when lithium is used for bi-polar. I think lithium aspartate is used for things like fatigue and metabolism.
not using aspartate and aspartate using carbonate carbonate
