Unitards are like leotards and tights combined. They cover the legs and sometimes arms too. Besides being a popular element of dance apparel, jerseys are also worn by rock stars, wrestlers, circus performers, gymnasts and acrobats.
A tutu is a skirt of ballerinas for ballet performances. Tutus that stick to the horizontal is known as "pancakes" tutus, and must be transported in a special round bag to keep them in their correct form. Other types of tutu can hang, and they can be carried in normal clothes bags. Both pancake tutus and hanging tutus can be made in one or more layers.
