Reflective Running Gear

Now that the darkness of 5, do you run with gears or just thinking about watching the cars?

I'm an early morning before sunrise type of runner, but snow in the morning, unplowed roads may be delayed until the evening me, when I go out.

Safety First! My wife has a friend who got hit by a car while it was running in daylight. It can happen to anyone at any time.

I was going to suggest get a PT (U.S. military belt) belt, but I see that you are in Canada, perhaps Canada's military or military thinking has something for their military use on the slopes, United States United, we have surplus stores smilitary buy military equipment, even if you're not in the army and use it to run, I know that when I drive by people if they wear any black, or even, sometimes I just can, t see them if I use my high beam and even then I don t like the blind.

I never ran with reflective gear, except a strip on the back of my shoes but I always wore bright running shorts and top. I wanted to at least be considered, especially when running through the snowy streets. Good luck and be careful.

Always wear reflective clothing, morning, noon or night, our Canadian winters can be dangerous and off-road, and your safety is always good to be seen by other drivers. Drivers should always have headlights on at all times so riders must have reflective material.

Its that ounce of prevention thing.

It's like the bike at night. I will not go out without the lights on.

Even during the day I wear that stuff totally garish fluorescent green, a color not found in nature.

At best most drivers are idiots when it comes to runners, cyclists and pedestrians. You can not be too careful to be seen.
