Snowflake Gymnastics

She was 13 when she died. I miss her, she was my best friend. This is my first Christmas without her and I feel like I should be with him chocolate chip pancakes in the morning on Christmas Eve as we do every year. I do not really like the poem, but what do you all think?


Where are you this holiday season?
Snowflakes falling gently to my feet
It makes me think of you as it blends into the concrete

Ah, there you are!
I forgot that you are now an angel.
You sit on top of my tree

I think it's beautiful! I too lost a friend recently, and this will be the first Christmas without him.
