Viga, a 20 crore footwear company announced the appointment of Mr. BD Nathani as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. BD Nathani is a veteran of the footwear world. An accomplished senior with a broad range of professional experience in the FMCG & Retail industry.
Acknowledged for ground breaking efforts in driving initiatives within organizations that led to revenue growth. It took many years of experience in developing strategies and maintain known footwear brands in the country, including a forest in 1993, Adidas, Liberty, Crocs, Lotto & Disney and had a central role in their creation. It has also been providing guest speakers in various B schools like Birla Institute of Management Studies, Apeejay Institute of Management, Gurunanak Institution of Management, IPM, Meerut etc.
Mr. Nathani is also well known in retail circles as an expert in retail. He is the person who signed "Sania Mirza" as the brand ambassador of Lotto, Lotto, which after having penetrated deeply allover India. Not only that, it is also the driving force behind the success of Crocs & High Tech shoes in India by making them brand the most successful in the short period of time. Apart from its mandate with wood, Liberty, Adidas, Lotto his last assignment was as Chogori Crocs Director.
