Is it possible to reduce a large silk shirt slightly by washing in hot water? I accidentally shrunk wool clothes in the same way, but I turned a nice vintage jersey Swobo in a sports bra. What I have now are very practical silk shirts, which are just too big. Does anyone have some tips?
Thank you,
Bill
Yes, it will shrink. Just wash by hand in a cool, cold water, stretch and hang dry. Or you coould always send to the cleaners to be safe.
shrike it straight, but it will definitely frown.
YES IT IS
I do not think the bill reduces the Silk many friends.
Soak in liquid nitrogen, then throw it in boiling water with lemon.
Be careful it is very dangerous.
go ahead - if its too big and you do not wear it anyway!
Looks like fun everywhere: up adventures - but I surely would not let you do my laundry!
Sorry - just will not
I do not think you'll like the feel of silk, after being scalded with hot water.
