Waterproof Running Clothes

Waterproof Running ClothesWhat is the best advice for running a 5k in the cold and rain?

I'm cold clothing that includes a windbreaker that is impermeable to water. What do you do on your legs and feet? I will run in a 5K, 10K and 10 Miler in the next 6 weeks.

There is nothing worse than getting too warm in cold weather, in races that I was still running in shorts, but keep warm with my top Drif Nike (tight shirts) The most important parts to keep warm Are your torso layers is essential to a great pair of gloves and a headwarmer (for your ears) or a hat. If your head and hands are warm, the rest of you will actually follow the example. Same thing for rainy days, if you wear pants, they will get wet and stay cold. If you're in shorts, layering correctly and have a jacket in Gore-Tex (waterproof), you'll stay much warmer. Running icky weather is a lot of fun! I had my best time in cross country skiing in cold and rainy. Embrace it! And be sure to warm up a LOT. Always wear socks extra if it rains if you do not get blisters. Even if you warm and your socks are already wet, change them before a race will make a big difference.

Good luck!

rain or wet does not slip

DONT wear the jacket
get a shirt thigh underarmor
to get your legs running tights
just wear running shoes
here is some good advice my coach told me cc:
1) wear any type of socks
2) on the socks to wear a ziplock bag sandwich
3) then put your shoes on them
you feet warm
success
wear a hat and a pair of gloves

Running so fast that the rain can not hit you (JK)
Normally, I stay were shorts, rain and a long sleeved shirt or windbreaker,

layers of clothing and wear whatever is comfortable. you can always take layers of hotter than you. Make sure your clothes are fabric that wicks moisture from the skin this way you will not catch cold if you use very cold temperatures. I wear a weight long pants running light, they also rain pants, but at least it freezes and I function well just those who wear running shoes and socks

depends on how cold

some people like to wear spandex tights, which should keep the legs warm. I do not mind, I think I get enough heat to run as my legs do not bother me.

you dress in layers, you can build a lot of heat. I'm doing something for a cold race distance, is to wear a "throwaway" old sweatshirt over my race things. something to keep warm while waiting for the beginning and maybe the first mile, then remove and throw it on the side of the road.

well ... I would not recommend sweat because then you burn too fast, maybe you could wear under armor. Feet: socks and tennis shoes regularly.

In very cold weather, I always wore tights. My Rainsuit was nylon, and it got cold enough, so it was not a good idea. If you insist on running in shorts, consider wearing a spare sock to keep your genitals warm.

This is a good time to run. The rain holds oxygen down and it is easier to breathe and function without constraint. And the cool air keep you from overheating. Your running shoes will be wet, but they will dry and you do not want to run the best of your shoes that day. But I think you will find that you want to let the rain and cold. You will find that your race time is also improved.

OK listen, I'm a runner Cross sountry, so I have some advice.
Legs: Wear two layers. Leggings and jogging pants water proof outside.
Feet: Some shoes are waterproof, but thats not a big problem, I suggest you wear two pairs of socks.
Other: I also suggest eating bananas before the race. I get rid of minor points that can interfere with a race, especially on a cold and rainy da.
